Engineering Manager (Energy) - Major Infrastructure Projects

About the Role

Join a leading British civil engineering contractor as an Engineering Manager focused on the Energy sector. You will play a pivotal role in driving multidisciplinary engineering delivery for major power transmission and distribution projects, overseeing the entire project lifecycle from inception to completion.

Main Responsibilities

• Lead and manage multidisciplinary engineering delivery for large-scale energy transmission and distribution projects.
• Ensure the highest standards of Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) performance across all operations.
• Support the development and assurance of temporary works solutions.
• Maintain strong professional relationships with clients, design offices, project teams, and supply chain partners.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to engineering teams.
• Coordinate technical resources, including materials, equipment, and specialized personnel.
• Prepare and review critical documentation, including risk assessments and Method Statements (RAMS).
• Oversee quality assurance through rigorous site inspections, testing, and verification processes.

• Proven experience in engineering management within the civil engineering or energy sector.
• Strong technical background in multidisciplinary engineering delivery.
