Engineering Scheduler / Coordinator – Maidstone

About the role

We are looking for an Engineering Scheduler / Coordinator to join our busy planning team in Maidstone. The role involves organising and monitoring engineering activities across the UK, ensuring that resources are allocated efficiently and service‑delivery targets are met. Full training is provided and there are clear pathways for progression within the planning and operations functions.

Key responsibilities

• Schedule and coordinate both planned and reactive engineering works throughout the UK.
• Manage engineers' diaries, allocate workloads and monitor job progress against agreed timescales.
• Adjust schedules in response to operational priorities and communicate changes to relevant teams.
• Maintain accurate records in works‑management systems and produce regular administrative reports.
• Track service levels, response times and overall operational performance.
• Escalate any scheduling risks, delays or resource constraints to senior staff.

Required profile

• Strong organisational and administrative abilities.
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, shift‑based environment.
• Excellent communication skills for liaising with engineers and internal departments.
• Ability to work independently while adhering to team processes.
