About the role
We are seeking an Engineering Stores & Pre‑Kit Assistant to support our busy engineering team by ensuring the workshop has the necessary tools, equipment and parts ready before each job starts. This role is essential for keeping production running smoothly.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare tooling and parts for the next job
- Pick and return tools to stores
- Keep stock organised and up to date
- Work closely with the machinists
- Maintain a tidy and well‑organised stores area
Required profile
- Previous experience in engineering, manufacturing, engineering stores, tool stores, production, CNC or mechanical assembly
Required skills
- Tool handling
- Inventory management
- CNC familiarity
- Mechanical assembly
What we offer
- Permanent contract
- £30,420 per year
- 39‑hour week (Monday‑Thursday 7:30‑16:30, Friday half‑day)
