Enrichment Officer

About the role

The Enrichment Officer will design, develop and deliver a diverse enrichment programme for students aged 16‑19, supporting their personal, social and employability development. You will work within Student Services to increase participation, build resilience and promote wellbeing across the college.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and deliver a varied programme of enrichment activities and events.
• Analyse participation data and impact, producing reports to inform future planning.
• Build and maintain partnerships with external agencies and community organisations.
• Support students in achieving their 26‑hour entitlement and encourage active engagement.
• Identify gaps in the current offering and propose innovative solutions.
• Challenge inappropriate behaviour and signpost students to appropriate support services.

Required profile

• Qualified to Level 3 or above in Youth & Community, Education, Psychology, Sociology, Health & Social Care or related field.
• Experience working with young people aged 16‑19 from diverse backgrounds.
• Strong organisational, self‑motivation and communication skills.
• Ability to develop positive relationships with students and staff.
