Enterprise Architect (Hybrid, Newcastle)

About the role

We are partnering with an iconic British brand to create a brand‑new Enterprise Architect position in Newcastle. The role will define the technology vision, governance and road‑maps that will guide the organisation’s digital transformation across retail, ecommerce, supply chain and corporate functions.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse the current technology landscape and develop a clear future‑state architecture.
• Design and maintain enterprise‑wide frameworks, standards and governance processes.
• Create and manage technology road‑maps aligned with business strategy.
• Collaborate with senior business and IT leaders to translate requirements into architectural solutions.
• Guide and influence technology decisions to ensure a cohesive, enterprise‑wide approach.

Required profile

• Proven experience in architecture roles within complex, end‑user organisations.
• Strong commercial mindset with the ability to engage senior stakeholders.
• Experience working at enterprise level, either as an Enterprise Architect or senior solution architect.
• Excellent communication skills, able to convey technical concepts in business language.
