About the role

We are looking for an entry‑level Honing Operator to join our HydraForce team in Lincolnshire. The role focuses on honing metal cages and hydraulic cartridge valve components to precise tolerances, following detailed drawing specifications.

Key responsibilities

Operate the honing machine in accordance with HydraForce standards.
Interpret honing specifications from drawings, blueprints and air‑gauge readings.
Hone basic parts and valves, handling oil‑ or coolant‑based processes.
Maintain target area control tolerances throughout the machining process.

Required profile

High school diploma or equivalent.
Basic proficiency in English reading, writing and mathematics.
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
Capacity to work on tasks for extended periods and lift at least 25 lb.

Required skills

Honing machine operation.
Reading technical drawings and specifications.
