EPC Contracts Manager

About the role

We are looking for an EPC Contracts Manager to provide contract management services supporting the delivery of solar PV and battery storage projects in the UK. The role will lead Belectric UK project teams in developing and managing EPC contracts and related sub‑contracts, ensuring projects are delivered to high quality, on time and within budget.

Key responsibilities

• Provide contract management services for solar PV & battery storage projects.
• Lead development and management of EPC contracts and associated supply/service sub‑contracts.
• Support sales and project teams with contract management capability and strategy.
• Prepare, review, negotiate and manage EPC contracts covering scope, timeline, costs, communication and documentation.
• Manage amendments, variations and claims, including identification and evaluation of project events.
• Support project teams on contractual matters such as risk management, disputes, escalations and claims.
• Develop and maintain contract management standards, processes and KPIs across EPC projects.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, key suppliers and internal departments (sales, procurement, engineering, commercial, project management, legal).

Required profile

• Confident in developing strong relationships with customers, suppliers, subcontractors and internal teams.
• Excellent communicator, fluent in English.
• Self‑starter with commitment to self‑development and passion for renewable energy.
• Willingness to travel and stay overnight (5‑10% of the time).
• Degree in engineering, commercial or legal discipline.
• Extensive experience in contract and claim management on mid‑to‑large scale construction projects.
• Strong understanding of contract and project matters in an EPC environment.
• Experience handling contractual escalations, claims disputes, mediation and resolution.
• Experience negotiating agreements with customers, suppliers and subcontractors.
• Familiarity with English contract law and EPC/engineering/building contract management, especially within solar PV and battery storage markets.
• Existing network of industry contacts and technical knowledge of solar PV and/or battery storage.
