Equity Research Associate – Israel Financials & Real Estate

About the role

We are looking for an Equity Research Associate to join Jefferies’ EMEA Research team in London, covering Israeli banks, insurers and real‑estate companies. Working closely with senior analysts, you will help maintain coverage of around 20 stocks and contribute to the generation of investment ideas for our clients.

Key responsibilities

• Support senior analysts in expanding and maintaining coverage of Israeli banks, insurance firms and real‑estate companies.
• Develop and maintain Excel‑based financial models and databases for the covered stocks.
• Prepare reports, presentations and regular commentary on sector and company developments.
• Respond to client queries and assist with marketing and corporate‑access initiatives.
• Source data, identify trends and monitor market developments to enhance research quality.

Required profile

• Previous experience in equity research, preferably covering banks, insurance or real‑estate.
• Fluency in Hebrew, as company reports are published in that language.
• University degree or master’s with strong academic record.
• Highly numerate, analytical and well‑organized.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including financial modelling.
