Estimating Lead - Private FM

About the role

OCS UK & Ireland, a facilities management company with more than 50,000 colleagues and a turnover of over £2bn, is looking for an organised, commercially focused and proactive Estimating Lead to join its growing Private FM team. Reporting to the Account Director, the role manages the end-to-end quotation process across several FM contracts, including within the mobile engineering division. Working hours are 8am-5pm Monday to Friday.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end quotation activities across multiple contracts
• Obtain and evaluate internal labour requirements, material supplies and subcontractor pricing
• Prepare quotations for reactive works, remedials, lifecycle replacements, projects and variations
• Maintain quotation trackers and pipeline reporting
• Support Account Managers nationally in identifying additional works opportunities
• Ensure chargeable works are tracked and recharged appropriately
• Develop and maintain supplier relationships and performance reviews, benchmark supplier costs and identify savings
• Validate supplier invoices against quotations and purchase orders
• Support monthly forecasting, reporting and revenue recovery activities
• Raise, manage and close work orders in the CAFM system and produce regular contract performance reports

Required profile

• Experience in facilities management, estimating, procurement, commercial administration or contract support
• Strong commercial awareness and numerical skills
• Experience producing quotations and supplier cost analysis
• Excellent Excel and reporting skills
• Experience using CAFM systems and processing labour, materials and chargeable works information
• Highly organised, methodical and commercially aware, able to work independently and as part of a team
