Estimator – Construction Tender Specialist

About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic Estimator to join our Bristol office. You will work on tenders ranging from £1m to £10m, translating client criteria into competitive, profitable bids.

Key responsibilities

• Check and confirm receipt of tender documentation.
• Create detailed bills of quantities using the ConQuest estimating system.
• Engage with supply‑chain partners to produce compliant tender responses.
• Prepare tender analysis, preliminary breakdowns, subcontractor comparisons, and risk/opportunity registers.
• Collaborate with design teams to gather relevant design information.
• Attend launch, review and adjudication meetings, presenting cost implications and mitigation strategies.
• Compile and hand over tender packages to the project team.

Required profile

• 4‑5 years of estimating experience on projects valued at £1m+ across multiple sectors.
• Strong analytical, organisational and administrative abilities.
• Proven ability to manage priorities, meet deadlines and work effectively in a team.
• Friendly, efficient and committed attitude aligned with company values.

Required skills

• Proficiency with electronic estimating software, preferably ConQuest.
• High level IT literacy, especially in estimating and Microsoft Office tools.
