About the role

Join Fairmont Cheshire, The Mere as an Evening Housekeeping Attendant and help maintain the resort’s reputation for immaculate luxury. Working evenings, you will ensure guest rooms are flawlessly prepared, contributing to memorable stays in a distinguished 5‑star environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and service guest rooms to Fairmont’s exacting luxury standards.
• Maintain impeccable cleanliness and presentation of bedrooms, bathrooms, and amenities.
• Replenish linens, towels, and guest supplies with care and consistency.
• Report maintenance issues promptly to keep rooms in perfect condition.
• Handle guest belongings and privacy with utmost respect and discretion.
• Support VIP room preparations with personalized touches.
• Maintain housekeeping trolleys and storage areas clean, organized, and fully stocked.
• Respond to guest requests warmly and professionally.
• Collaborate with floor supervisors, housekeeping, and front office to ensure timely room readiness.
• Follow cleaning procedures, deep‑cleaning schedules, and brand standards.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations, including COSHH and manual handling.
• Participate in daily briefings and training sessions.
• Support lost‑and‑found procedures with accuracy and confidentiality.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year of housekeeping or cleaning experience, preferably in a luxury hotel.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in delivering exceptional standards.
• Understanding of cleaning procedures, hygiene standards, and room presentation.
• Knowledge of UK health & safety regulations, including COSHH (training can be provided).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good time‑management skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
• Professional, courteous demeanor.
