Events Assistant – Waiting Staff for Art Gallery

About the role
We are seeking polite and well‑presented waiting staff to support a contemporary art gallery in Harpenden during exhibitions and special events. This part‑time, event‑based role offers the chance to create a warm, memorable experience for visitors while working in a creative environment.
Key responsibilities
- Greet guests on arrival and provide a friendly first impression.
- Serve drinks and refreshments throughout exhibitions, openings and private views.
- Deliver attentive table service with confidence and professionalism.
- Assist with the smooth running of events, ensuring all guests are comfortable and well‑cared for.
Required profile
- Previous waiting experience in hospitality or events.
- Friendly, calm and customer‑focused attitude.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Reliability and a positive, team‑oriented mindset.
Required skills
