Events Manager

About the role

Searcys is seeking an Events Manager to lead the coordination and delivery of events at Church House, a historic Grade II listed venue in Westminster. You will work closely with sales, kitchen, and client teams to ensure each event runs smoothly and profitably.

Key responsibilities

• Set up events according to detailed event sheets and ensure timely delivery.
• Lead front‑of‑house operations on assigned events, briefing all team members.
• Participate in daily and weekly operations meetings.
• Liaise with kitchen, sales, operations, and client teams to achieve successful outcomes.
• Plan short‑ and long‑term event schedules, budgets, and marketing initiatives.
• Maintain or exceed budgeted sales and profit targets.
• Develop creative event attractions, either in‑house or via qualified vendors.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years experience in event management.
• Strong understanding of the full event lifecycle from conception to completion.
• Ability to prioritise multiple projects in a fast‑paced, creative environment.
• Excellent organisational detail and high attention to detail.
• Clear and effective verbal and written communication.
• Solution‑oriented mindset with strong strategic and critical reasoning.
