Experienced Groundworker – Biggleswade Housing Site

About the role
We are seeking an experienced groundworker to join a busy housing development in Biggleswade. The role starts on 7 July and is expected to run for 5‑6 weeks, with the possibility of extension. You will be paid £23 per hour on a CIS basis.
Key responsibilities
- Carry out finishing works on the housing site, including concrete and blockwork tasks.
- Use and maintain basic groundworker tools safely.
- Adhere to site health and safety standards, wearing required PPE.
- Work the full 45‑hour week, typically 7:30 am to 4:30 pm.
Required profile
- Valid CSCS or CPCS card.
- Previous experience on housing projects and finishing works.
- Ability to communicate effectively and work well within a team.
- Willingness to work on a temporary, fixed‑term contract.
Required skills
- CSCS certification
- CPCS certification
- Proficiency with basic groundworker tools
