Experienced Legal Counsel – In‑house Commercial Role

About the role

La Fosse is seeking an experienced Legal Counsel to join its in‑house legal team. Working closely with senior leaders, you will provide practical, commercial‑focused advice across the business, helping teams manage risk and make informed decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Provide clear legal advice on commercial contracts, employment matters, compliance and dispute resolution.
• Draft, review and negotiate client terms, supplier agreements, NDAs, IP agreements and data‑processing agreements.
• Support HR with policies, employee relations, settlement agreements, grievances and redundancy processes.
• Maintain and improve legal templates, internal policies and key documentation.
• Assist with litigation and dispute matters, including evidence gathering and correspondence.
• Identify training needs and deliver practical legal training for non‑legal staff.
• Support audits, reporting, document management and compliance activities.

Required profile

• Strong legal experience, preferably in‑house or in a commercial environment.
• Demonstrated ability to advise non‑legal stakeholders and balance risk with commercial priorities.
• Excellent communication, drafting and organisational skills.
• Proactive, practical approach with keen attention to detail.

Required skills

• Experience drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial contracts.
• Knowledge of employment law, compliance and dispute handling.
