Experienced Litigation Solicitor (5+ PQE) – Locum – £35-£50/hr

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Litigation Solicitor to join a highly respected law firm in Essex on a locum basis. You will manage a varied caseload of contentious matters from inception through to conclusion, delivering high‑quality legal advice and representation.

Key responsibilities

• Take ownership of your own caseload from day one and work independently.
• Provide legal advice and representation across landlord‑tenant, employment, probate and commercial disputes.
• Handle all phases of litigation, including drafting pleadings, attending hearings and negotiating settlements.
• Maintain proactive, client‑focused communication throughout each matter.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years post‑qualification experience (PQE) in litigation.
• Proven ability to manage a broad range of disputes independently.
• Professional, proactive and client‑oriented approach.
