Experienced Social Worker - FAST

About the role

Our client, Lincolnshire County Council, is seeking an experienced Social Worker to join the East Lindsey FAST team. You will deliver statutory social work across Child in Need, Child Protection and Children in Care, working on a rotating three‑week schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct Section 47 enquiries and comprehensive Child and Family Assessments.
• Manage risk using evidence‑based approaches such as Signs of Safety.
• Lead safeguarding processes and contribute to multi‑agency planning.
• Produce clear analytical reports, including court reports, and maintain accurate records.
• Provide relationship‑based practice and confident decision‑making to improve outcomes for children and families.

Required profile

• Qualified Social Worker with proven experience in child protection and care.
• Demonstrated ability to complete Section 47 enquiries and risk assessments.
• Strong commitment to safeguarding and multi‑agency collaboration.
• Willingness to work onsite five days during the duty week and hybrid on non‑duty weeks.
• Eligibility to register with Remedy and undergo an enhanced DBS disclosure.
