EYFS Supply Teacher – Temporary Primary School (Croydon)

About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic EYFS Supply Teacher to join our network of primary schools in Croydon. This temporary, long‑term assignment ensures continuity of learning when regular teachers are absent.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver pre‑planned lessons and maintain classroom routines in the regular teacher’s absence.
• Manage behaviour effectively, creating a safe and respectful learning environment.
• Adapt quickly to different school settings, building rapport with pupils and staff while following school policies.
• Assess and support pupil progress, providing feedback even during short‑term placements.

Required profile

• Qualified with PGCE, QTS, or HLTA Level 4.
• Experience working with primary‑school students.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Flexibility to work on short notice and adapt to varied teaching environments.
• Commitment to safeguarding and willingness to undergo DBS and right‑to‑work checks.
