Facilities Maintenance Technician

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Facilities Maintenance Technician to ensure the physical integrity and operational efficiency of a global medical‑device site in Witney. The role combines scheduled upkeep with rapid response to unexpected issues in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform hands‑on repairs including minor structural works, joinery, and fabric maintenance.
• Carry out routine inspections and preventative maintenance on essential plumbing systems.
• Install and commission fixtures, fittings, and internal equipment.
• Act as the first point of contact for immediate site troubleshooting.
• Log, track and close work orders using the Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS) and maintain accurate digital records.
• Prioritise workload based on safety and operational urgency, collaborating with department heads to minimise disruption.

Required profile

• Proven experience in general maintenance and basic plumbing.
• Hands‑on approach with strong attention to detail.
• Comfortable using basic computer applications; experience with maintenance logging software is a plus.
• Self‑motivated, able to work autonomously and manage time effectively.
