Facilities Manager – Residential Development

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Facilities Manager to take ownership of operations at a flagship residential development in Surrey. You will work closely with the General Manager and onsite team to ensure high standards of compliance, maintenance, and resident satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage the onsite facilities and maintenance team.
• Oversee planned preventative maintenance (PPM), reactive maintenance and statutory compliance programmes.
• Manage contractors and service partners, ensuring safe and effective service delivery.
• Conduct regular inspections of plant rooms, apartments and communal areas.
• Maintain health & safety, building compliance and contractor documentation, including permits to work and RAMS.
• Record compliance and operational data through CAFM systems.
• Support resident satisfaction through effective communication and high operational standards.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Facilities Manager, Building Manager or senior facilities professional in residential, BTR, PBSA or mixed‑use environments.
• Strong understanding of building maintenance, contractor management and compliance requirements.
• Experience managing PPM programmes, reactive maintenance and statutory inspections.
• Good knowledge of M&E systems, health & safety and building services.
• Confident leading teams and third‑party contractors.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
