Factory Engineering Manager

About the role

Refresco Beverages is looking for a dynamic Factory Engineering Manager to lead engineering excellence at its Bridgwater site. You will shape and implement strategies that optimise performance, compliance and efficiency across all engineering operations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop engineering tools, troubleshooting guides and preventative maintenance documentation to reduce reliance on OEM support.
• Lead the creation, implementation and review of preventative maintenance systems aligned with site KPIs.
• Minimise downtime for critical utilities and systems such as E80, Island and Fanuc Palletiser.
• Ensure HSE and SHE compliance through audits and coordinated maintenance plans.
• Manage training, development and talent growth for the engineering team.
• Support business growth through CAPEX contributions and oversee MRO stores, utilities and systems engineering functions.
• Conduct day‑to‑day line management, performance reviews and annual appraisals for direct reports.

Required profile

• Proven leadership experience in a manufacturing or industrial engineering environment.
• Strong understanding of compliance standards and audit processes.
• Ability to drive continuous improvement and safety culture.
• Experience managing budgets, CAPEX projects and maintenance programmes.
