Family and Childcare Solicitor – London

About the role

Duncan Lewis Solicitors is seeking a qualified Family and Childcare Solicitor to join its highly regarded family law team in the City of London. You will work within a paper‑less, hybrid environment, providing expert advice and representation to high‑net‑worth individuals and families.

Key responsibilities

• Report directly to the Department Director and take ownership of all aspects of family law work.
• Provide technical expertise and guidance to solicitors, trainee solicitors and caseworkers.
• Supervise and manage a caseload of complex family and children matters, including divorce, domestic abuse, adoption, child abduction, special guardianship and injunctions.
• Deliver training and development initiatives for the department.
• Conduct advocacy in court proceedings and ensure continuity of service for clients.

Required profile

• Qualified solicitor regulated by the Solicitor’s Regulation Authority.
• Advanced accreditation in Children Law and Family Law from the Law Society.
• Proven experience handling high‑value family disputes and child‑protection cases.
• Strong supervisory and case‑management abilities.
