Family & Childcare Solicitor (NQ) – Nottingham

About the role

We are seeking a newly qualified (NQ) Family & Childcare Solicitor to join our Nottingham team. You will provide specialist advice and representation across a broad range of family and children matters, working within a highly regarded, award‑winning practice.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive family law advice to high‑net‑worth clients, covering divorce, maintenance, property, pensions and injunctions.
• Handle complex children cases including abduction, protection, special guardianship and adoption.
• Represent clients in court proceedings, including advocacy at all levels.
• Supervise and mentor trainee solicitors, caseworkers and junior team members.
• Contribute to the design and delivery of departmental training and development programmes.

Required profile

• Newly qualified solicitor, fully regulated by the Solicitor’s Regulation Authority.
• Strong academic background and a keen interest in family and children law.
• Ability to manage a varied caseload with a high degree of professionalism and confidentiality.
• Excellent communication skills and the capacity to work collaboratively within a hybrid‑working model.
