Family Law Solicitor – Hybrid (Manchester)

About the role

We are expanding our Family Law team and are looking for qualified solicitors to join us on a hybrid basis. You will work from Manchester City Centre one day a week and remotely the rest of the time, handling a diverse caseload of privately funded family matters.

Key responsibilities

• Take ownership of a mixed caseload of family law matters from start to finish.
• Negotiate actively to achieve the best outcomes for clients.
• Use our case management system to record information accurately.
• Meet individual and team chargeable time and profit targets.
• Draft and audit legal documents and correspondence.
• For senior or lead positions, provide line‑management, mentorship and contribute to departmental strategy.

Required profile

• Qualified solicitor or CILEX‑qualified with experience in privately funded family law.
• Proven ability to meet chargeable and billing targets.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Resilience and excellent client‑service orientation.

Required skills

• Proficiency with a case management system.
