Family Paralegal

About the role

A well‑established Central London law firm is expanding its Family team and is looking for a Family Paralegal. The role offers the chance to work alongside experienced solicitors on a broad range of private family matters while developing a legal career.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with divorce, financial remedy and private children matters.
• Prepare legal documents, court bundles and correspondence.
• Conduct legal research and draft documents.
• Liaise with clients, barristers, courts and third parties.
• Manage case files and ensure deadlines are met.
• Support solicitors with client meetings and hearings.
• Maintain accurate case management records.

Required profile

• Previous family law experience within a law firm.
• Strong drafting and communication skills.
• Excellent organisation and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Professional and empathetic approach to client care.
• Compassionate and organised individual.

Required skills

• Proficient use of Microsoft Office.
• Experience with case management systems.
• Strong IT skills.
