Family Paralegal – Private Practice Law Firm

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Family Paralegal to join a highly‑rated private practice law firm in Marlow. The role involves supporting fee‑earners on divorce, financial remedy and children matters within a fast‑growing team.

Key responsibilities

• Support fee‑earners across a broad range of private family law matters.
• Manage your own caseload of straightforward files under supervision.
• Prepare court bundles, statements and supporting documents.
• Draft legal correspondence, forms and client‑facing documents.
• Conduct legal research and assist with case preparation.
• Liaise with clients, counsel, courts and external professionals.
• Ensure cases progress efficiently and remain compliant at all stages.

Required profile

• Previous experience in family law as a Paralegal or Legal Assistant.
• Strong understanding of divorce, financial remedy and children matters.
• Excellent communication and client‑care skills.
• Ability to manage competing deadlines and stay organised under pressure.
• High attention to detail with a proactive, confident approach.

Required skills

• Strong IT skills and experience using case management systems.
