Family Partner / Senior Family Lawyer – South East

About the role

A leading, fast‑growing law firm in the South East is looking for an experienced Family Partner or Senior Family Lawyer to strengthen its Family team. You will manage a high‑quality caseload across divorce, financial remedies, private children matters, cohabitation disputes and pre/post‑nuptial agreements while building lasting client relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage a diverse portfolio of privately funded family law matters.
• Develop and nurture key client relationships to support business growth.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking and referrals.
• Provide mentorship and leadership to junior solicitors within the team.
• Ensure high standards of client care and compliance with professional regulations.

Required profile

• Qualified Family Solicitor with substantial post‑qualification experience.
• Proven track record in privately funded family law cases.
• Demonstrated business development and networking abilities.
• Excellent communication, client‑care and leadership capabilities.

Required skills

• Expertise in divorce, financial remedy, private children, cohabitation and pre/post‑nuptial agreements.
