Family Solicitor (Legal Aid) – £50k – London

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Family Solicitor with Legal Aid experience to join a well‑established London law firm. The role is full‑time, office‑based and offers the chance to manage a diverse family law caseload while contributing to the firm’s growth.

Key responsibilities

• Independently manage a caseload of Family Law matters, including Legal Aid work.
• Ensure full compliance with file‑management and regulatory standards.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients.
• Participate in PLO meetings and care proceedings.

Required profile

• Qualified Family Solicitor with at least 2 years post‑qualification experience.
• Strong experience in Family Law and Legal Aid processes and compliance.
• Clean, valid practising certificate.
• Professional, proactive and commercially aware.
• Excellent drafting, analytical and organisational skills.
• Confident in managing own caseload and meeting deadlines.
• Collaborative team player with strong client relationship skills.
