About the role
We are seeking a Family Solicitor to join a long‑established firm in Colchester on a partnership basis. The role offers hybrid working and the chance to lead a small department while supporting a trainee and handling full administrative duties.
Key responsibilities
- Lead and develop a small family law department.
- Provide mentorship and supervision to a trainee solicitor.
- Manage administrative tasks associated with the practice.
- Participate in the Family and Children panels.
Required profile
- Minimum 4 years post‑qualification experience (PQE) in family law, primarily private work.
- Current seat on the Family and Children panels.
- Ambition to progress to a partnership role and lead a team.
