Family Solicitor – Tier 1 Family Team (Bournemouth)

About the role

Our client, a Legal 200 firm, is expanding its new Bournemouth office and seeks an experienced Family Solicitor to join a Tier 1 family department. You will work on privately funded family matters, enjoying autonomy over a diverse caseload while contributing to the firm’s growth.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a full caseload covering divorce, ancillary relief and private children matters.
• Provide expert legal advice and representation to clients throughout the dispute process.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships through proactive communication.
• Engage in business development and networking activities to generate new work.
• Collaborate with senior partners and junior colleagues to ensure high‑quality service delivery.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years post‑qualification experience in family law.
• Demonstrated expertise in privately funded family matters.
• Ability to work independently and manage a demanding caseload.
• Commitment to building and maintaining client relationships.
• Willingness to contribute to business development initiatives.

Required skills

• In‑depth knowledge of divorce, ancillary relief and child law.
