Fashion Designer – Womenswear (London)

About the role

MyTheresa is seeking a talented womenswear designer to join its London design team. You will shape the aesthetic of the brand, collaborate closely with technical and product teams, and help launch new collections that resonate with luxury shoppers.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct in‑depth research and trend analysis for womenswear.
• Refine existing blocks and develop new ones, defining fit, shape and brand aesthetic.
• Create design packs and support the launch of new collections.
• Source fabrics and trims, working with internal teams and external suppliers.
• Collaborate with the Technical team on fits and product development.
• Partner with Creative Director, Buyer and Product team to ensure balanced collections and contribute to range presentations.
• Travel to fabric fairs and factories in the UK and abroad as needed.

Required profile

• Passion for womenswear design with strong customer and brand understanding.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar womenswear design role.
• Creative and commercially minded with a strong portfolio of innovative work.
• Excellent knowledge of woven fabrics, garment construction, trims and hardware.
• Strong communication, presentation and collaboration skills.
• Highly organized, detail‑oriented and able to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
