About the role
Working as part of a multi‑skilled team, you will lead FEM and Digital Analysis activities for wing structures, supporting stress analysis of metallic and composite components on Airbus commercial aircraft.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Global, Detailed and Integrated Finite Element Models for wing structures.
- Extract and interpret results to justify stress analyses and support design teams.
- Manage off‑load packages to suppliers, including FEM factory and in‑service repair tasks.
- Ensure compliance with FEM governance, airworthiness regulations and Airbus design principles.
Required profile
- Degree in Aerospace Engineering (or Masters) with experience in aerospace structural analysis.
- Ability to work collaboratively with loads, design and stress analysis teams and external suppliers.
- Strong communication skills and capability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
Required skills
- Finite Element Modelling and Analysis (GFEM, DFEM, IFEM).
- Knowledge of metallic and composite wing structures.
- Understanding of airworthiness regulations and Airbus design processes.
- Experience with EVE workflow development, NGSA and FDNS tools (preferred).
