Female Healthcare Assistant – Night Shift for Children

About the role

We are seeking compassionate female Healthcare Assistants to provide overnight, in‑home care for two young children with complex healthcare needs in Great Yarmouth and Lowestoft. The role involves ensuring the children remain safe, comfortable and well‑supported throughout the night, giving families peace of mind.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver personal care and support daily living activities.
• Administer medication and monitor health status.
• Perform moving and handling tasks safely.
• Carry out complex clinical interventions such as tracheostomy care, suctioning, oxygen saturation monitoring and enteral feeding after specialist training.
• Observe and record wellbeing, responding promptly to any changes.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 months paid UK care experience.
• Passion for supporting children with complex health needs.
• Confidence with personal care and moving & handling.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Willingness to complete specialist clinical training.
• Comfortable working in homes with family pets.
• Right to work in the UK.
