Female PE Teacher

About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated female Physical Education teacher to join a large community secondary school in Stockport. The role starts in September 2026 and will run for at least one term, delivering engaging PE lessons to students aged 11‑16.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver high‑quality PE lessons for KS3 and KS4 pupils.
• Use innovative and fun teaching approaches to improve student progress and GCSE results.
• Maintain accurate records, assessments and health & safety standards.
• Collaborate with the wider department to develop the curriculum.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills (QTLS).
• Enhanced DBS clearance and, if applicable, overseas police checks.
• Full CV with employment and education history, including explanations for any gaps.
• Legal right to work in the United Kingdom.
