Female Support Worker – Part‑time Care Role

About the role

We are seeking a compassionate Female Support Worker to provide 24/7 care for an elderly gentleman with a traumatic brain injury in his own home. The role is part‑time, offering flexible day shifts across the week, and may lead to permanent employment.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver personal care, including hygiene and dressing assistance.
• Administer medication safely according to care plans.
• Prepare meals and support nutritional needs.
• Facilitate social activities, community outings, and companionship.
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and safe positioning.
• Attend appointments and support the client during outings.
• Work collaboratively in a 2:1 support team, following risk assessments and care plans.

Required profile

• Previous experience supporting adults with complex needs, especially brain injury.
• Ability to provide personal care with dignity and respect.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Calm, patient, and proactive approach to challenging behaviours.
• Flexibility to work shifts on a rota basis.
