About the role
We are looking for a motivated Field Sales Consultant to join SumUp’s UK team in Brighton. You will work directly with local entrepreneurs, introducing them to SumUp’s payment and POS solutions, and earn uncapped commission based on sales performance.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and manage a territory of local businesses such as cafés, salons and boutiques.
- Conduct face‑to‑face meetings, demo payment hardware and software, and tailor solutions to each client’s needs.
- Plan daily routes, follow up leads, and convert prospects into active customers.
- Maintain accurate records of interactions and sales in the company CRM.
- Collaborate with a dedicated Territory Manager and share best practices with peers.
Required profile
- Proven experience in B2B field sales or a comparable customer‑facing role.
- Strong communication and relationship‑building skills.
- Self‑motivated and able to work autonomously in a territory.
- Ambitious attitude with a focus on achieving sales targets.
- Willingness to travel locally within the Brighton area.
Required skills
- No specific technical skills required; training on SumUp products will be provided.
What we offer
- Earn 50 % of revenue from payments, hardware and software sales plus 25 % recurring income for up to five years.
- Earn 75 % of SumUp’s net revenue in the first year for rapid early earnings.
