Field Sales Representative – Cambridge, Norwich & Essex

About the role

Flatpay, a fast‑growing European fintech, is expanding its UK sales team. The Field Sales Representative will work across Cambridge, Norwich and Essex, meeting local businesses to showcase Flatpay’s card‑payment solutions and convert prospects into customers.

Key responsibilities

• Attend pre‑booked appointments with local merchants to demonstrate payment terminals and close sales.
• Generate your own pipeline through referrals, networking and local prospecting.
• Assess each merchant’s needs and recommend the most suitable payment solution.
• Deliver and install payment terminals for new customers, ensuring a smooth onboarding experience.
• Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date records in the CRM system.
• Build long‑term relationships by providing excellent customer service.
• Share customer feedback and market insights with Sales Development, Marketing and Product teams.

Required profile

• Strong communication and relationship‑building abilities.
• Self‑motivated and resilient, able to work towards ambitious targets.
• Organised and confident in managing your own territory.
• Customer‑focused with a consultative sales approach.
• Commercially minded with solid problem‑solving skills.

What we offer

• Commission‑only role with a guaranteed minimum payment of £60,000–£70,000 OTE.
• Uncapped commission paid at 45p per mile.
