Field Service Engineer – Industrial Equipment (South England)

About the role

Join a well‑established engineering business as a Field Service Engineer, covering customer sites across the South of England. You will install, service, maintain and repair a wide range of industrial equipment, delivering first‑class service to clients.

Key responsibilities

• Install, commission and service industrial and manufacturing equipment at customer locations.
• Perform routine maintenance and urgent repairs to minimise downtime.
• Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults and implement effective solutions.
• Travel across the South of England, adhering to health and safety standards.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Field Service Engineer, Service Engineer or Maintenance Engineer.
• Strong electrical and/or mechanical engineering background.
• Experience in an automated manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Engineering qualification (minimum Level 3 or equivalent) and full UK driving licence.
• Residency within a 40‑mile radius of Reading and willingness to travel.
