Field Service Engineer (LV/MV Switchgear)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Field Service Engineer to install, commission and test LV/MV switchgear and switchboard systems for a well‑established electrical solutions provider. The role involves travelling across the South of the UK and occasional international visits to support client projects from start to finish.

Key responsibilities

• Install, commission and test LV/MV switchboards and switchgear, including relay configuration and SATs.
• Carry out fault diagnostics, testing and produce supporting documentation.
• Visit client sites across the South of England and travel internationally when required.
• Provide technical service and support to ensure smooth project delivery.

Required profile

• Field Service Engineer or Commissioning Engineer with LV/MV switchgear experience.
• Strong electrical background and proven fault‑finding ability.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel nationwide.
• Ability to work independently on varied projects.
