Field Service Engineer – £36k‑£38k + OTE

About the role

We are looking for a hands‑on Field Service Engineer to join a market‑leading environmental services company. The role involves travelling across the South East to service, maintain and audit a range of industrial assets while working as part of a skilled, safety‑focused team.

Key responsibilities

• Perform field‑based service, maintenance and audits of separators, tanks, pumps and related equipment.
• Inspect manholes, control panels, filters and probes on customer sites.
• Carry out electrical continuity testing and install or replace control panels.
• Work in confined spaces and produce integrity reports.
• Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory and customer‑specific requirements.
• Promote safe practices and high standards across all sites.

Required profile

• Mechanical or electrical engineering background, preferably in wastewater, utilities or related sectors.
• Hands‑on problem‑solving approach with a strong work ethic.
• Experience with pumping stations, separators or water systems is preferred.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel regionally.
• Comfortable using tablets and on‑site software.
