Finance Analyst – 12‑Month Contract

About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast‑paced, Bristol‑based business as a Finance Analyst on a 12‑month contract. You will sit at the heart of the Supply Chain & Operations function, providing financial insight and commercial support to multiple teams.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and analyse monthly slow‑moving inventory reports, highlighting risks and trends.
• Deliver inventory reporting, reconciliations and variance analysis, including root‑cause investigations.
• Partner with Supply Chain and Commercial teams across locations to provide actionable financial insights.
• Support budgeting and forecasting for cost elements.
• Assist with value‑creation tracking and performance reporting initiatives.
• Contribute to month‑end reporting, data validation and variance analysis.
• Maintain accurate customer pricing files.
• Participate in ad‑hoc projects such as cost analysis, contract support and process improvements.
• Ensure accuracy of financial data, support balance‑sheet reconciliations and assist with year‑end audit activities.

Required profile

• Degree in Finance, Accounting or a related discipline.
• Working towards or recently completed a professional qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
• 1‑3 years of experience in a finance or accounting role.
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
• Proactive, self‑motivated and able to work under pressure.
• Excellent communication and collaborative mindset.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel for data analysis and reporting.
