Finance Business Partner – Bristol

About the role

We are seeking a Finance Business Partner to join a fast‑growing professional services firm in central Bristol. The role offers a competitive salary of £60‑£65k plus bonus, hybrid working and a comprehensive benefits package.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and report on monthly P&L performance and KPIs, providing insightful analysis to highlight improvement opportunities.
• Lead the annual budgeting process, challenge assumptions and guide the Executive Team to ensure realistic targets.
• Prepare and deliver analysis to support Board approval and assist the Executive Team during budget presentations to the CEO and CFO.
• Provide strategic insight and modelling for long‑term planning to the Group Finance Controller.
• Review major contracts and projects against revenue and margin targets, recommending corrective actions.
• Track commercial performance using key metrics and develop business models for new products, price changes or investment proposals.
• Support commercial and sales teams in large‑deal negotiations by building bespoke bid models and challenging financial parameters.

Required profile

• Professional qualification (ACA, CIMA or ACCA) or equivalent.
• Strong analytical, data‑driven mindset with the ability to influence stakeholders.
• Excellent verbal communication skills, comfortable presenting to senior management.
• Significant experience in financial forecasting and modelling for pricing, deals and projects.
• Deep understanding of financial and performance levers within a professional services environment.
