Finance Business Partner – Energy Sector (Bristol)

About the role

We are seeking a Finance Business Partner to support operations and commercial teams within a growing energy business. This 15‑month fixed‑term role offers hybrid working and the chance to influence performance, cash flow and capital investment decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with site operations, commercial teams and senior management on performance against targets.
• Deliver management accounts, budgets, forecasts and investment appraisals on schedule.
• Own the accuracy and control environment for the finance area, liaising with auditors as required.
• Identify risks and opportunities and work with senior stakeholders to act on them.
• Evaluate business growth opportunities, projects and post‑investment performance.

Required profile

• ACA, ACCA, CIMA qualified (or equivalent).
• Strong management accounting and business analysis background.
• Confident communicator, comfortable challenging and influencing non‑finance stakeholders.
• Advanced Excel skills; PowerBI experience is a plus.
• Prior finance business‑partnering experience desirable.
