Finance Business Partner

About the role

We are seeking a Finance Business Partner to join the digital team of a global organisation. The role will support the delivery of major digital transformation programmes, providing strategic financial oversight and insight to senior leaders.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the primary finance partner to the digital department, influencing investment decisions, business cases and project priorities.
• Lead financial planning, forecasting and budgeting for multiple programmes and projects, ensuring alignment with long‑term organisational goals.
• Monitor financial performance of large multi‑year projects, tracking costs, risks and value delivery.
• Collaborate with project and business leaders to reflect financial impacts of scope changes and priority shifts in forecasts.
• Enhance financial governance, cost control, forecasting accuracy, modelling and scenario analysis while ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
• Prepare and present financial analysis and insights to senior leadership and the board.

Required profile

• Degree in Finance, Accounting or a related discipline.
• Professional finance qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA or equivalent).
• Strong experience in FP&A, commercial finance or finance business partnering within a technology or digital environment.
• Proven track record supporting large, complex, multi‑year programmes.
• Experience working with senior stakeholders in matrixed or global organisations.
• Advanced analytical and financial modelling capabilities.
• High proficiency with financial systems, ERP/forecasting tools and Excel.
