Finance Business Partner

About the role

The Finance Business Partner will join the FP&A team in Oxford, working closely with senior leaders to provide financial insight and strategic guidance. This commercially focused position influences decision‑making, supports performance improvement and ensures robust financial planning across key business areas.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the annual budgeting process and quarterly re‑forecasting for assigned divisions.
• Produce accurate monthly management accounts with detailed variance analysis.
• Partner with operational leaders to challenge assumptions and deliver financial insight.
• Support strategic planning through financial modelling and analysis.
• Contribute to cross‑functional initiatives aligning financial and operational objectives.
• Identify and implement enhancements to reporting processes and financial controls.
• Provide financial perspective on business change projects.

Required profile

• Qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with proven Finance Business Partner experience.
• Strong management accounting and analytical capabilities.
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders and present financial information confidently.
• Commercially minded with a proactive approach to problem solving.
