Finance & Data Analyst (Hybrid, Bristol)

About the role
The Royal Photographic Society is seeking a Finance & Data Analyst to support its growth as a national charity. Reporting to the Director of Finance & HR, you will combine financial reporting with data analysis to help shape strategic decisions.
Key responsibilities
- Produce accurate management accounts and support budgeting and forecasting cycles.
- Analyse performance trends across membership, education, distinctions and regional activities.
- Create and maintain dashboards and reporting tools to turn data into actionable insight.
- Provide recommendations to senior leaders based on financial and operational analysis.
- Collaborate with budget holders to ensure data‑led decision making throughout the organisation.
Required profile
- Strong experience in financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting.
- Commercially minded with curiosity for both financial and operational data.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience working in a charity, membership, education or not‑for‑profit environment.
Required skills
- Advanced Excel skills, including handling large datasets.
- Experience with Power BI or similar reporting tools (advantageous).
