Finance Director - Corporate Accounting

About the role

We are partnering with a leading global investment firm to recruit a Finance Director for its European finance team in London. The role sits at the heart of corporate accounting, overseeing financial reporting, regulatory compliance and audit management in a fast‑paced international investment environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead statutory and consolidated financial reporting.
• Oversee month‑end, quarter‑end and year‑end close processes.
• Manage regulatory filings and ensure compliance with relevant standards.
• Coordinate external audits and maintain strong audit relationships.
• Strengthen internal controls and optimise accounting processes.
• Partner with Tax, Legal, Compliance and Finance teams across Europe.

Required profile

• ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent professional qualification.
• Extensive corporate accounting experience, preferably in private equity, asset management or financial services.
• Deep knowledge of IFRS; familiarity with Lux GAAP and US GAAP is a plus.
• Experience with regulated entities and statutory reporting.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

• Salary range £125,000 – £160,000 per year.
