Finance Director, UK

About the role

The Finance Director will lead the end‑to‑end Finance function for Imagine Cruising in the UK, acting as the most senior finance leader in the business. You will partner with the Managing Director and leadership team to drive profitable growth, operational efficiency and robust financial governance.

Key responsibilities

• Act as a strategic and commercial partner to the Managing Director, influencing investment decisions and growth strategy.
• Lead the full financial planning cycle, including budgets, forecasts and long‑range plans.
• Own delivery of EBITDA, PAT and cash‑flow targets, providing analysis of performance drivers, risks and opportunities.
• Oversee accurate, timely management reporting, variance analysis, KPIs and quarterly balance‑sheet reporting.
• Maintain a strong financial control environment, ensuring clean audits and statutory reporting.
• Manage relationships with Group Finance, auditors, regulatory bodies and the CAA, including ATOL licence requirements.
• Lead treasury, cash‑flow forecasting, liquidity management and banking relationships.
• Drive standardisation, automation and continuous improvement across finance operations and systems.
• Set objectives, develop talent and build a high‑performance finance culture.

Required profile

• Professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
• Significant post‑qualified experience in a senior finance leadership role.
• Proven experience leading multi‑functional finance teams in a large, complex, global matrix organisation.
• Strong commercial acumen with ability to translate financial data into clear business insight.
• Experience engaging with senior leaders and board‑level stakeholders.
