Finance Manager – Central London

About the role

We are seeking a commercially‑minded Finance Manager to join a fast‑growing professional services consultancy in Central London. You will partner with a fractional CFO and senior leadership team, taking ownership of the finance function to drive clarity, strengthen controls and support strategic decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the preparation of monthly management accounts and cash‑flow forecasts.
• Manage invoice finance relationships and enforce credit‑control discipline.
• Prepare annual budgets and rolling forecasts.
• Strengthen financial controls, processes and reporting frameworks.
• Mentor and develop a small finance team.
• Partner with operational leaders to influence better business decisions.

Required profile

• Experienced Financial Controller or Finance Manager ready to step up.
• ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified (or close to qualification).
• Background in people‑led or consulting businesses.
• Passion for improving processes and bringing structure.
• Confidence using Xero and other cloud‑based finance systems.
• Experience in professional services or project‑based environments.
