Finance Manager – Consumer Brand

About the role

The Finance Manager will join a fast‑growing consumer brand in Bolton, working closely with senior leadership to drive performance across e‑commerce, direct‑to‑consumer and wholesale channels. You will provide commercial insight, manage financial planning and support strategic decisions as the business expands nationally and internationally.

Key responsibilities

• Lead budgeting, forecasting and long‑term financial planning.
• Deliver commercial analysis to support growth and profitability.
• Develop financial models for new opportunities, investments and product launches.
• Analyse performance across e‑commerce, DTC and wholesale channels.
• Own cash‑flow forecasting and working‑capital management.
• Monitor inventory performance, stock valuation and supply‑chain finance metrics.
• Prepare monthly management accounts and board reports.
• Strengthen financial controls, processes and reporting frameworks.
• Partner with operations, merchandising, marketing and supply‑chain teams.
• Manage relationships with external accountants, auditors and banking partners.

Required profile

• Qualified finance professional with proven leadership experience.
• Strong background in financial planning, forecasting, management accounts and commercial finance.
• Experience in fast‑paced retail, e‑commerce or consumer‑brand environments.
• Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders and support key business decisions.
• Previous experience within a direct‑to‑consumer fashion or lifestyle brand, covering inventory and supply‑chain finance, multi‑channel sales and international expansion projects.
